From Term 1 2024, all state school students must keep their mobile phones switched off and 'away for the day' during school hours. Please read the 'Away for the day' - Frequently asked questions.

We ask all parents/carers to reinforce the school policy relating to mobile phones at Holland Park State School. Whilst we do not encourage mobile phones or smartwatches being brought to school, we understand the need for some students to have communication with their parents/carers before or after school. Students are permitted to bring mobile phones to school on the conditions; that they keep mobile phones switched off and 'away for the day' and remain in bags.

Wearable devices, such as smartwatches, can be worn however notifications must be switched off so that phone calls, messages and other notifications cannot be sent or received during school hours.

Holland Park State School takes no responsibility for loss or damage to mobile phones or any piece of electronic equipment brought into the school by students.
