Home Bake
The popular P&C Home Bake initiative has been operating since 2013 and has provided the addition of baked items to the Tuckshop menu. Home baked goods offer added choice as well as home cooked goodness. Home baked goods are donated to the Tuckshop and made available to students and have included slices, muffins, cakes, and biscuits. Please click on the link below for more information on Home Bake.
Parents interested in participating in the Home Bake initiative should contact the P&C at pandc@hollandparkss.eq.edu.au.
Volunteering
- Tuckshop relies on volunteers to help prepare food and goodies for our kids. Some of the things that our volunteers do to help are:
- Baking
- Preparing food (like sandwiches or making apple slinkies)
- Re-stocking fridges
- Helping students and parents ordering lunches and snacks during the breaks
Grandparents and other family members as well as community members are welcome to help out too! Volunteers, other than parents of a child at the school, eg. a Grandparent, etc. need to obtain a valid blue card prior in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (Qld).
The Tuckshop Volunteer Roster is managed by the Tuckshop Convenor Michelle Gonsalves
