Creating effective partnerships between home and school is crucial for maximising your child's educational opportunities. Such partnerships thrive on strong communication and mutual support, fostering an environment where your child can achieve to the best of their ability.
Reporting to parents/carers
Parents/carers will receive written reports on their child's progress twice during the year.
A level of achievement is awarded on a five-point scale, A to E or equivalent, depending on the year level. Parents may request in writing information about their child's performance relative to that of other students in their cohort.
Parent/teacher meetings
Parent teacher interviews are offered at the end of first and third terms.
Newsletters
We publish a fortnightly newsletter to inform you and community members about school activities, developments and initiatives.
This newsletter is distributed via email and the school website. Please email administration@hollandparkss.eq.edu.au with any changes to your contact details.

Our school website is used to provide general operating information along with announcements and event reminders. Should you feel any information you required is missing from the website please contact the office.

SMS Notification System
Short Message Service (SMS) Notification system has been established to allow parents to receive a range of school messages including:
- same day notification if a student is absent without notice
- key event reminders
- emergency information
Parents/carers must ensure that their current mobile number is held by the school in order to receive this vital communication and alert service.
QParents app
QParents is a user-friendly portal accessible via app or web browser, providing parents/carers with secure online access to information about your child's schooling.
