Holland Park State School’s enrolment policy is governed by an Education Queensland 
School Enrolment Management Plan.pdf to manage student enrolments in the
Holland Park State School catchment area. If you reside within the school catchment area, please use the
prep ready reckoner to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year. If your child is not commencing prep, please refer to our 
Enrolment Date of Birth.docx to determine which year your child should be enrolled in.
To enrol your child in our school, please complete the following forms as required:
Please also ensure you have a valid form of identification for your child, such as an Australian Birth Certificate or passport, and proof of residency within the catchment area, such as a utilities bill or a tenancy agreement for a rented property. Once you have completed all of the required documents, please
contact us to arrange an interview.
New families residing outside the catchment area
If you wish to have your child placed on our school waiting list for enrolments, please complete our HPSS Waiting List Form.docx Our waiting list enrolment applications are processed and offered according to the date they are submitted.
Prep Waiting List opens for out of catchment enrolments as follows:
- Tuesday 19th April 2022 for enrolment in 2023
- Monday 17th April 2023 for enrolment in 2024
- Monday 15th April 2024 for enrolment in 2025
- Tuesday 22nd April 2025 for enrolment in 2026
All Waiting List forms must be physically presented to our office along with the child's original birth certificate from 8am.
Families who reside outside the catchment area with siblings of the enrolling child already at the school
Please follow the same procedure as new families residing within the catchment area.
